Nov 2 – callers complaining of sewage odor around the Flat Creek Water Restoration wastewater treatment facility. This site had a 2 million gallon sewage overflow into Flat Creek in October after a heavy rain event, prompting the upgrade of the site’s pumps and increasing the capacity well beyond the average daily usage requirement. EPD advises that the smell could last for years. Caller invites officials to a cook-out.
