Drought creeping in to northwest GA

Streamflow Situation from the network of USGS streamflow gauges in Georgia

Normal streamflows predominate through most of the state midweek with an area of below normal water levels in the Coosa River and tributaries. Central Walker, Chattooga, west Floyd, west Polk County. Tallapoosa River watershed is also rated below normal, impacting Haralson and Carroll Counties.

As of this report there are no hazardous weather expectations, no flooding, no extreme high or extreme low flows.
