Flood Tracker provisional data from USGS streamflow monitors
Twenty-eight streamflow gauges record flooding in the USA Sunday, down from thirty-four yesterday. WT tracks the nation's most common natural disaster dynamics through New York, Ohio, Georgia and Louisiana. As of this report, ten monitors indicate active flooding; 7 in Georgia and 3 in Louisiana.
Georgia, Day 25: Gulf of Mexico basin Ochlockonee River is still flooding near Concord, Florida, running a hair over on Sunday at noon. On the Atlantic side of the drainage divide, Alabaha River flooding has ended overnight at GA 203 near Blackshear. Altamaha and tributary Ohoopee are still flooding near Baxley and Reidsville respectively, Savannah is still flooding near Cylo and the Little Satilla and Satilla Rivers are still flooding near Offerman and Atkinson.
New York State streamflows are back to seasonal normal in the east, two monitors continue at much above normal on Long Island. West interior remains much below normal Sunday with no change to the drought map overnight. Moderate hydrologic drought remains on Alleghany River watershed in the southwest, Oswego River - Finger Lakes, Chemung and Genesee Rivers watersheds remain rated below normal on the drought map Sunday.
In Louisiana, Bayou Dorcheat retired from flooding near Springhill overnight. In Region 1 northwest LA watershed, Bayou Bodcau is a little less than six feet above flood stage near Shreveport. Pearl River on the east state border continues to flood near Bogalusa in Washington Parish and downstream Town of Pearl River in St. Tammany Parish.
Ohio's current streamflow map is coming back to normal in central state Sunday, the flows had been below normal to much below normal through the central and west state over the last few days. Multipe rounds of thunderstorms are forecast for Monday and Tuesday in northwest Ohio with a possibility of flooding. This been very dry through the month of March. As of this report there are no active flooding stations or high flows measured in Ohio State network of the USGS.

Drinking Water Advisories
Wilkinson County - Gordon - a Boil Water Advisory was issued following a water main leak and repair on Kennington Rd on Friday.
Dade County Water Authority has lifted a BWA following a water leak and service disruption March 27. The outage impacted the unincorporated community of Rising Fawn, specifically those water customers from Cornerstone Market to Ruby Lane on Hwy 157.
Hazardous Spills
Heavy rain events in Dekalb County often come with an especially nasty side effect. Callers to Georgia EPD report overflowing manholes and raw sewage escaping into the creeks on both sides of the state divide. North Dekalb creeks collect runoff heading for the Chattahoochee River system in the Gulf of Mexico basin. South Dekalb creeks run to Lake Jackson, the Ocmulgee River of the Atlantic drainage basin. During the heavy rains this month, more than 750 thousand gallons of raw sewage is reported to have overflowed from manholes into the watersheds. In 2022, WTGA reported 10 million gallons of sewage impacted the creeks flowing into Lake Jackson, the head of the Ocmulgee River. Dekalb County has a strategy to reduce these stormwater overflows, WTGA investigates. More to follow.
