from USGS streamflow monitors provisional data
Thirty-eight sites mark flooding across the network of the USGS streamflow monitors in continental USA Sunday afternoon.
One station records coastal flooding in NY, Reynolds Channel is flooding near the City of Long Beach. One station in Ohio, Tiffin River runs a hair above flood stage Sunday afternoon, flooding started 1130 pm last night and is close to ending. Four stations record flooding in Louisiana Sunday, including Bayou Dorcheat near Springhill, Bayou Bodcau near Shreveport, Pearl River near Bogalusa and downstream municipality of Pearl River.
Georgia is the flood leader in the group, eleven stations still flowing above flood stage late Sunday afternoon. The current flood event began on March 6 with heavy rain through north and central Georgia. Major rivers are still flooding including the lower Flint River, Ocmulgee, Oconee, Altamaha, Savannah, Ogeechee, Ohoopee Rivers. Streamflow Situation provisional data from USGS current streamflow monitors
Thirteen streamflow monitors record active flooding Sunday, down from 14 yesterday.
Flint River is still flowing high at Newton, no longer flooding as of 745 pm Saturday night, currently running two feet below flood stage. Flooding stopped at Riverview Plantation near Hopeful around 2 pm Saturday afternoon. Flint is still flooding at Bainbridge, this is the last station in Georgia flooding in the Gulf basin.
Atlantic basin flooding continues on the Ocmulgee River at Abbeville and Lumber City, Oconee River is still flooding near Mount Vernon. The combined flow Altamaha River is still flooding near Charlotteville, Baxley, Doctortown and Everett City. Ohoopee River is still flooding near Reidsville, Savannah River is flooding at Burtons Ferry Road near Millhaven, and downstream Cylo. Ogeechee River continues to flood at Eden, Little Satilla River is still flooding near Offerman.

Drinking Water Advisories
Clarkesville issued a BWA Thursday for several neighborhoods downtown. Customers connecting at Habersham Place, Springwood, and Madison from Wayne to Llewellyn St are to boil water until further notice.
USGS Provisional Data Statement
Data are provisional and subject to revision until they have been thoroughly reviewed and received final approval. Current condition data relayed by satellite or other telemetry are automatically screened to not display improbable values until they can be verified.
