Drinking Water Advisories
Clarkesville issued a BWA yesterday for several neighborhoods downtown. Customers connecting at Habersham Place, Springwood, and Madison from Wayne to Llewellyn St are to boil water until further notice.

National Weather Service Hazardous Weather Outlook issued 1230 pm March 15
This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for portions of North and Central Georgia.

Showers and thunderstorms will continue across mainly central Georgia this afternoon. A few storms could become strong, with gusty winds to 40 mph, locally heavy rainfall, and cloud to ground lightning. Storms should diminish or clear the area after sunset this evening.

Another round of showers and isolated thunderstorms are expected across north and central GA on Sunday. Severe weather is not anticipated with this system at this time.

Streamflow Situation provisional data from USGS current streamflow monitors
Fourteen streamflow monitors record active flooding Friday afternoon, down from 21 yesterday and 25 on Wednesday evening as the floodwater shifts downstream. Everett City is on flood alert as the latest readings available show the Altamaha River is now two inches below flood stage. Volume in the largest free-flowing river on the east coast has increased over 20% overnight, still rising at Charlotteville, Baxley and Doctortown, up another two inches today at Everett City and rising. Flood alerts have gone out.

In the Mississippi basin, the Flint River continues flooding in the lower end. Flows are running 99th percentile past Oakfield and Albany and flooding from Newton down to Lake Seminole. Apalachicola River is no longer flooding at Chattahoochee, FL.

Atlantic flow Ocmulgee River continues to flood at Hawkinsville and Abbeville, joined by the Oconee River flooding at Mount Vernon, The combined flow Altamaha runs over flood stage near Charlotteville and Baxley. As reported above, Altamaha is actively flooding at Doctortown, downstream. Expect to see Everett City appearing here soon.

Savannah River is flooding at Burtons Ferry Road near Millhaven, and downstream Cylo. Ogeechee River continues to flood at Eden, Ohoopee River is still flooding at Reidsville, Canoochee River floods on at Claxton, Little Satilla River is flooding near Offerman.

Check black tags on the map for flood levels updated throughout the day, blue tags for high flow.
