Streamflow Situation provisional data from USGS current streamflow monitors
Twenty-six streamflow monitors record active flooding in Georgia Monday. Georgia accounts for one third of all active flooding recorded on the USGS network in the continental USA, as of this report.

Chattahoochee River is six inches over flood stage in Columbus, almost two feet over at Ft Gaines and more than five feet over at Columbia, AL. Flint River continues to overflow at Griffin and Carsonville, running 99th percentile past Montezuma, Oakfield and Albany. Past Lake Seminole, the confluence of Chattahoochee and Flint Rivers, the Apalachicola River is two feet over at Chattahoochee Florida and on the rise.

For the Atlantic basin, Ocmulgee River floods on at Macon, Hawkinsville and as of 945 pm last night, Abbeville. Oconee River still over at Penfield and near Oconee, and has breached flood stage at Dublin around 715 am this morning. Moving past the confluence of Ocmulgee and Oconee, the Altamaha River is flooding near Charlotteville and Baxley. Ogeechee River continues to flood at Midville and now flooding at Eden as of 2 am this morning. Savannah River overflows near Cylo. Ohoopee River is still flooding at Reidsville, Canoochee River floods on at Claxton.
